THE

TRAVEL

JOURNAL

If you're anything like me, somehow I was born with an insatiable desire to travel. From mountains to rainforests, or historical towns to thriving markets. I love it all. In this section, I'll share with you the places I discover in my homeland of Tasmania, and those places beyond our island home. â€‹

Arriving at Remarkable Rocks, on the edge of Flinders Chase National Park on Kangaroo Island, and after a long, five-year break in what would usually be an annual pilgrimage back, I felt like I was finally home . . .

CHAMPAGNE FALLS:

COUCH TRAVEL INTO TASMANIA'S WILDERNESS BELLY

Tucked away between Tasmania's iconic Cradle Mountain and the Central North Coast, Champagne Falls remains one of the best waterfall experiences in the North of Tasmania.

It is not hard to understand why early settlers fell in love with the region when you stand and peer out across Forth Valley from Braddons Lookout, ten minutes drive from the port city of Devonport. Standing here, I try to envisage what it would have been like as an early explorer pre-colonisation.
